Description |
The Emergency Medicine Clerkship (EMED 302) satisfies the Emergency Medicine selective requirement for GW medical students. This is a required clerkship for 4th year students; students also have the option of taking Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PED 405) to fulfill the emergency medicine requirement. Students enrolled in EMED 302 will rotate through The Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. Students will be joining a staff of board-certified emergency physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, residents, nurses, technicians, and support personnel who are committed to excellence in education and patient care. At each facility, students should be prepared for a demanding, rich, and rewarding clinical and didactic experience. See syllabus for additional details. |
